assembly technician
We are needing Assembly Technicians / Vehicle Fitters who will be responsible for all works relating the manufacture and assembly of new trailers and other equipment.

Full Time Permanent Position

Key responsibilities for the role include:
Assembling, servicing and repairing road transport equipment to BRE
Good sound knowledge trailer electrical and lighting systems
Perform all duties whilst adhering to OH&S requirements
Follow systems and procedures & fill out checklists and paperwork
Adhere to workplace safety requirements and use PPE correctly at all times
Ability to work within time constraints and meet deadlines.
Required:
Minimum 12 months experience required
Experience in Heavy Duty Road Transport manufacturing (trucks and trailers)
HR License (Highly regarded but not essential)
Have a good knowledge and recognition of heavy-duty vehicles
Forklift license
Desirable:
Good sound knowledge of hydraulics and PTO systems used in tippers
Good sound knowledge of AIR braking systems, as well as ABS/EBS
Experience in Heavy Duty Road Transport manufacturing (trucks and trailers)
Experience of working with overhead cranes
Hold Dogging License
