Terms of Use.
The terms on which you may use the Bantu website, its vacancy listings and its enquiry forms. Please read them before you use the site.
About these terms
These terms apply to your use of this website. By browsing the site, using a form on it, or applying for a role through it, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
This website is operated by Bantu Recruitment Agency, ABN 62 113 226 298, of 63 Burlington Street, Naval Base WA 6165, Western Australia.
[TO BE CONFIRMED BY BANTU: the registered legal entity name and company registration number of the Zambian entity, and confirmation of the registered office address these terms are to be issued under.]
These terms are not a contract of engagement
Using this website does not create an employment relationship, an agency relationship, or any obligation on Bantu to find you work or to fill a role. Bantu’s services to candidates and to client employers are governed by separate arrangements, which take precedence over these terms if the two ever conflict.
Website content and accuracy
Bantu takes care to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but the site is provided for general information. Bantu does not warrant that everything on it is complete, accurate or up to date at all times, and the site may be changed without notice.
Nothing on this site is legal, immigration, financial or career advice. Migration and work rights in particular depend on your circumstances and on rules that change; take your own professional advice before making a decision.
Job listings
- Publishing a vacancy is not an offer of employment and does not guarantee an interview, a placement, a visa outcome or any particular result.
- Salary ranges, locations, start dates and requirements shown in a listing are indicative and may change.
- Roles may be filled, amended or withdrawn at any time, including after you have applied.
- Some listings are published on behalf of a client employer whose identity is not disclosed until a later stage.
- If a listing conflicts with what a consultant has told you, check with the consultant before you act on it.
Applying through this website
Apply only through the routes published on this site. When you apply you agree that the information you provide is accurate and not misleading, that documents you upload are genuine, and that you are entitled to share them. Do not submit another person’s personal information unless you have their authority to do so.
Bantu may decline, withdraw or discontinue an application where information proves to be inaccurate, where documents cannot be verified, or where these terms have been breached.
Bantu will never ask you to pay a fee to apply for or to be placed in a role. Please read the recruitment fraud guidance before you send documents to anyone who says they represent Bantu.
Acceptable use
You may use this site for lawful purposes connected with a genuine enquiry, application or recruitment need. You must not:
- Use the site for any unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive purpose, or impersonate another person or organisation.
- Scrape, harvest, index or extract listings, contact details or other content by automated means, or reproduce them for a competing service.
- Use contact details published on the site to send unsolicited marketing.

- Interfere with the operation, security or availability of the site, or with another user’s use of it.
- Post or transmit material that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, obscene or infringing.

The content of this site — including its text, layout, design, graphics, photographs and the Bantu name and logo — is owned by Bantu or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other rights. You may view the site, and download or print extracts, for your own personal, non-commercial use in connection with a genuine enquiry or application. You may not otherwise copy, adapt, republish, distribute or commercially exploit any part of it without Bantu’s written permission.

Third-party links and services
This site may link to, or embed content from, websites and services operated by other organisations — for example job boards, mapping, video or social platforms. Those links are provided for convenience. Bantu does not control those services, does not endorse them by linking to them, and is not responsible for their content or availability. Their own terms and privacy practices apply when you use them.
Privacy
Personal information collected through this site is handled in accordance with Bantu’s Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Availability of the site
The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Bantu does not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of viruses or other harmful components, and may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of it for maintenance or for business reasons without notice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bantu is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or anything published on it — including loss of opportunity, loss of profit, loss of data, or loss arising from a role being changed or withdrawn.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or under consumer guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as those in the Australian Consumer Law where they apply to you.
[TO BE CONFIRMED BY LEGAL: the limitation of liability, any liability cap, indemnity provisions and the consumer-law carve-outs in this section must be drafted and settled by Bantu’s legal advisers before publication.]
Governing law
[TO BE CONFIRMED BY BANTU: the governing law and the courts having jurisdiction for these terms — for example the law of Western Australia — and how that position applies to visitors in Bantu’s African and Middle East markets, where local mandatory consumer or employment law may also apply.]
Changes to these terms
Bantu may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the version that applies, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Please check this page from time to time.
