FEMALE METALLURGICAL PLANT OPERATOR
AVAILABLE FOR FULL TIME WORK – HOPETOUN WA
Direct operating experience in Acid plant hydromet operations, Leaching, Counter Current Decantation Solvent Extraction and Electrowinning.
Exposed to mineral processing operations, Crushing, Grinding, Flotation and Dewatering, which include Press Filtration. Exposed to Gyratory and Hydrocone Crushers, Sag Mills and Flotation cells with an on stream X-ray analyzing system.
Responsible for organizing and coordinating production activities to ensure that production targets are met while promoting safety, health and environment, and cost control objectives.
Managed metallurgical process control by checking and controlling parameters and carrying out test works. Recognized for leadership skills as a team player and ability to work in busy conditions including back shifts
MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
∙ Involved in the Commissioning of a fully automated Kansanshi Acid plant Concentrator treating more 1,000 tpd of Acid 2013.
∙ Maintain the operational integrity of the Leach, CCD’s and Solvent Extraction areas and its ancillary plant/equipment; in order to achieve safety, environmental, quality, costs, production and teamwork targets.
∙ Involved in the preparation of the equipment start up and shut down procedure for Kansanshi hydromet section 2007 – 2008.
∙ Involved in the Commissioning of a fully automated Kansanshi Concentrator treating more than 80,000 tpd of Copper ore; with electrowing producing about 400t copper at 99.999% TCu.
∙ Successfully involved in the training of employees which included Plant operators through in house seminars and lectures on leaching, counter current decantation and solvent extraction – 2007 – 2008.
