Boilermaker
Fabricates or build a staff from drawings provided
Full attention to drawing detail
Weld using various welding procedures
MIG Welding (Gasless wire, Flux cord, Solid wire)
TIG Welding
Plasma Cutting CNC, Manual
Barge building, structural fabrications and install, Steel Store attendance.
Working in an open-pit Mining
Repairing worn out and re-building buckets, bowl/trays and courage of diggers, Dump trucks, dozers, drill rigs, and other support equipment
Measuring work pieces with straight edges to ensure correct specifications, accurately examining and measuring work pieces for defects, etc.
Gouging off adaptors, leaps and liners and replacing them by new ones
Cutting materials/plates up to 50mm using straight gauge cutter
Cutting large metal objects into pieces to be discarded
Welding using Manual Metal Arc welding, MIG welding and Gas welding Gouging processes and using the lancing torch to remove stuck pins.
