About the opportunity
A copper mining operation on the Copperbelt is seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter to maintain and repair fixed and mobile plant electrical systems on a rotational roster.
What you will do
- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems on fixed and mobile mining plant.
- Fault-find and troubleshoot electrical breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Complete planned maintenance schedules and job cards.
- Ensure compliance with site electrical safety standards.
- Mentor junior electrical trades staff on site.
What you will bring
- Trade certificate in Electrical Fitting or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in heavy industrial or mining environments.
- High voltage switching experience an advantage.
- Willingness to work an 8-weeks-on/2-weeks-off rotational roster.
- Valid passport and ability to obtain a Zambian work permit.
