Where our work reaches beyond recruitment.
Bantu Group supports three Zambian organisations caring for children who need food, shelter and a fair chance. It is what we choose to do with what the business earns.
We measure success by more than placements.
Bantu Group earns its living connecting people to work. In Zambia, where much of our team is from, a single job visibly changes a household — and plenty of households are nowhere near reach of one.
So we support three organisations working where recruitment cannot: with children who need food, with children who need a home, and with children whose disability puts ordinary life out of reach.
It is not a campaign, and it is not run at arm’s length from the business. It is the same belief, applied further down the line.
Food & Nutrition
Hunger is the quietest barrier to a child’s future. A child who is not fed does not learn, and a child who does not learn does not get to choose what comes next.
Food & Nutrition works to address hunger and malnutrition among Zambian children and families. Bantu funds the work directly, so the meals arrive whether or not it has been a good quarter for us.
Home of Happiness
Some children need more than a meal. They need somewhere that is theirs — a bed, a routine, and adults who know their name.
Home of Happiness provides a safe and stable home for Zambian children who need one, along with the everyday care that makes a house feel like it belongs to you. Our support goes towards keeping that home running.
Children with Disability
Disability in Zambia too often means exclusion — from school, from work, from the ordinary business of growing up. It rarely has to.
This partner supports Zambian children living with disability, and the families around them, with care, access and advocacy. Bantu backs the work because a fair chance should not depend on how a child was born.
Support that is ongoing, not occasional.
Three commitments shape how we work with every partner we back.
We fund directly
A regular contribution to each partner, committed over time. Predictable support lets them plan past the end of the month.
Our team shows up
Our people in Zambia give time and practical help on the ground, not just a transfer at the end of the quarter.
We stay put
We work with a small number of partners so the relationship deepens year on year, rather than spreading thin across many.
A foundation to carry this forward.
Bantu Group intends to formalise this work through the Bantu Group Foundation — a single structure to manage sponsorships and community commitments across every market the Group operates in.
It brings together what we already do, with clearer governance and greater reach.
